Calling all bunny lovers and creative minds! This craft guide combines two fun projects: a charming rabbit helmet cap and a simple paper mask. Both are perfect for playtime, costumes, or even school projects.

Materials:

• Rabbit Helmet Cap:
  • Cardboard (enough for a head-sized circle and two large floppy ears)
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Paint or markers
  • Glue (optional)
  • Elastic band (optional)
  • Pink pipe cleaners (optional, for whiskers)
• Paper Mask:
  • White or pink construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Markers or crayons
  • String (optional, for securing the mask)
  • Stapler (optional, for securing the mask)

Instructions:

Rabbit Helmet Cap:

1. Measure and Cut: Use the cardboard, ruler, and pencil to draw and cut out a large circle for the head base. The diameter should be slightly larger than your head for comfortable wear.

2. Shape the Ears: Draw and cut out two large floppy ears from the remaining cardboard. You can get creative with the ear shape – rounded, pointed, or even droopy!

3. Decorate: Unleash your inner artist! Paint or decorate the entire helmet cap and ears with your favorite colors and patterns.

4. Attach the Ears: There are a few ways to attach the ears to the head base. You can use glue for a permanent bond, or thread and staples for a more adjustable option.

5. Secure the Cap (optional): If you want the cap to stay on comfortably, punch two holes on opposite sides of the head base and tie an elastic band to fit snugly around your chin.

6. Whiskers Away (optional): For an extra touch, poke small holes on the cheeks of the helmet and insert pink pipe cleaners for adorable whiskers.

Paper Mask:

1. Draw and Cut: Fold the construction paper in half. On the folded side, draw the outline of a rabbit face, including the eyes, nose, and a big smile. Cut out the mask shape carefully.

2. Color and Customize: Decorate your mask with markers or crayons. Add details like whiskers, fur markings, or even a carrot in the bunny’s mouth!

3. Attach the String (optional): If you want the mask to be worn, punch two holes on either side of the mask and tie a string to secure it around the head. Alternatively, you can staple the ends of an elastic band to the sides of the mask for a comfortable fit.
