Simple Nighty Cutting and Stitching: A Step-by-Step Guide

Introduction

Creating your own nightgown can be a rewarding and cost-effective endeavor. This guide will walk you through the process of cutting and stitching a simple nighty, perfect for beginners. With clear instructions and detailed images, you’ll be able to craft a comfortable and stylish nightdress in no time.

Materials Needed:

• Cotton fabric (soft and breathable)
• Measuring tape
• Tailor’s chalk or pencil
• Scissors
• Sewing machine or needle and thread
• Thread matching the fabric
• Pins
• Iron

Measurements:

Before starting, measure your bust, waist, hips, and desired length for the nighty. Add a few inches for seam allowance.

Cutting the Pattern:
